Where the WPA 250 Is Installed in Australia
The largest single-stage cast-iron worm reducer in the WPA range. Deployed on mining primary crusher feed conveyors, large-scale dam infrastructure penstock and sluice gate actuators, heavy industrial kiln main drives, and infrastructure-grade process equipment in mineral processing plants. At 360 kg and nearly 2,750 Nm output torque, the WPA 250 serves applications that would otherwise require a helical-bevel or planetary gearbox.
When to Choose This Model
The WPA 250 covers the Maximum capacity in the single-stage range. For ratios above 60:1 or torques beyond 2,750 Nm, consider our WPE double-stage series or contact us for a custom solution.. Choose cast iron over aluminium when the application involves sustained vibration, belt-tension side loads, outdoor installation, or ambient temperatures above 45 degrees C.
