
Where the WPA 100 Is Installed in Australia
The most widely specified cast-iron worm reducer in Australian heavy industry. Mining conveyor auxiliary drives across the Pilbara, water treatment clarifier scrapers in Queensland municipal facilities, sugar cane crushing auxiliary equipment, and heavy-duty gate valve actuators in dam infrastructure. At 35 kg with output torques reaching 291 Nm, the WPA 100 handles continuous industrial duty that aluminium gearboxes cannot sustain.
When to Choose This Model
The WPA 100 covers the 1.0-4.45 kW range. For 5.5 kW+ or sustained torques above 400 Nm, step to WPA 120. Choose cast iron over aluminium when the application involves sustained vibration, belt-tension side loads, outdoor installation, or ambient temperatures above 45 degrees C where aluminium thermal expansion affects bearing alignment.
